2/4 for my project due at the end of this semester. Maybe you are starting to see a theme, if you have looked at the first one? Here is a link: [link]

Really would like some comments/critique's on this...I need to make these pretty good, since it's a final project and worth quite a few points :)

Here's just something that is bothering me with this image, the shadows of the horses, they don't match the light source... The shadow for the second one should be more to the left, and there is no shadow for the first.... just a suggestion, but beautiful peice!

Yes, when I redid this one, I redrew the shadows, and I realized later that the one was off a bit. The other horses shadow on the right is very dark, so you can't really see it in the shade.

Thanks for the critique and compliment :)

I really like this. It's lovely! Very well done! (:
However, the horse in front has blue ears where the lightings sort of ruined the original picture. It's an easy fix, just clone over it.
Second - The lighting. If you see in the background the hills are lit up strongly where as the field where the horses are in aren't really, and considering the lighting on the horses you've used don't really seem to match up very well. If any lighting on those horses it should just be highlights around the muscles etc. Hehe, and also don't pick horsies with random shadows such as the one on the front that has what looks like the shadow of a tree on it's tummy.
Third - The far back horse shouldn't really be there. It doesn't fit in and just makes the picture far to busy.
Fourth - Feet blending. There should be more erased from the legs as the grass is higher and different lengths. And on the middle horse it's not very well blended in, just erased.
Fifth - Shadows. I think they should be slightly more solid and not blurred. Only some shadows don't go up to the horses hoof.

Sorry if that sounds really harsh. But I could go on a lot longer about what's good about this picture! Lovely work on this and I hope you get some good points! :)
