Took this at the festival of colors yesterday :) Amazingly, I got very few "colors" on me...I was standing on a hill looking down on the crowd, with the wind blowing the colorful dust away from me. I also wasn't wearing white, which probably showed I didn't want colorful stuff all over me ;)

**If you are one of the people in this photo, and would like an original full sized copy, please let me know**

EDIT: DD: Wow, my first DD -ever-!! I am beyond thrilled :) Thanks so much to capricordestin for suggesting it and Timothy-Sim for featuring it!

From 39 favorites before the DD to 482 and counting (only 12 hours later!), there is no way I can thank all of you in a timely manner, so please accept my thanks here!

I took these in Spanish Fork, Utah though they have these types of festivals in other cities like Berkley, California. I used a telephoto lens and I basically just tried to stand up wind from the dust. When I wasn't using my camera, I had it tucked inside my jacket. The safer method, though, is to use a plastic bag, like a zip-loc, and put it around your camera, cutting a hole in the end where your lens will stick out, if that makes sense. Hope this helps, and I hope you have a great time in India :) If you remember, feel free to comment me a link to some of your pictures when you come back!

From the Inca Cola sponsored extravaganza. We put this on to celebrate our newest flavor, Inca Cola Purple. We promptly recalled that flavor due to the gas leaked from the bottles, but hey, learn to live right?

Well, they originated from India, but this particular one was in Utah. I know they also have one at UC Berkley in CA, too.

Thank you :)
